(the former state-owned Danyang Hengsheng Sauce and Vinegar Factory) is one of the birthplaces of Zhenjiang balsamic vinegar and a time-honored enterprise in Jiangsu. In 2015, Hengsheng balsamic vinegar brewing technology was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in Jiangsu Province. Over the past 200 years, Hengsheng balsamic vinegar brewing technology has been passed down to the 10th generation.
