CSG Guangdong Power Grid Corporation (“CSG Guangdong”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (“CSG”), with a registered capital of CNY 66.8 billion. Believing that “people’s electric power industry shall serve the people”, CSG Guangdong has built 2,795 substations, providing a power transmission capacity of 580 million kVA and power transmission capacity lines totaling 97,760 kilometers, covering 49,427.5 thousand households and a population of more than 100 million people. In 2016, the power grid in Guangdong Province became the first provincial power grid in China with a regulated load exceeding 100 million kilowatts, more than the national power load of a developed country such as South Korea and Australia. CSG Guangdong owns 8,429 invention patents and is a top player nationwide in core technologies such as complex power grid control, reliability management, power market transactions, superconducting power applications, flexible DC transmission, and electrical robots.
