Zheng Yongfeng, Master of Medicine, Doctor of Law. Lawyer, patent agent. From 1988 to 2003, he was a patent examiner and the Division Director of the Chemical Department of the State Intellectual Property Office of China, a member of the Task Force on Traditional Knowledge of the Expert Committee of the IPC Union of the World Intellectual Property Organization. He studied patent law in the Germany Patent Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the Max Planck Institute of Intellectual Property in Munich, Germany. In 2003, he joined Tasly Holding Group Co., Ltd. and successively served as Assistant to the President, Vice President of Tasly Research Academy, General Legal Counsel, Chief Intellectual Property Officer. In 2008, he was awarded the honorary title of Advanced Worker in the National Patent System jointly by the Ministry of Personnel and the State Intellectual Property Office. In 2012, he was awarded the National Intellectual Property Leading Talent by the State Intellectual Property Office. He also served as Vice President of China Patent Protection Association, Technical Expert of China Patent Examination of the State Intellectual Property Office, Visiting Professor of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Arbitrator of Tianjin Arbitration Commission. He has published more than 30 papers, 6 works as chief editor or deputy chief editor, and author, and 1 translated work.
