Huawei’s Intellectual Property Department has more than 400 intellectual property professionals, with more than 100,000 valid patents worldwide.FAN graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a bachelor’s degree in communications engineering, and joined Huawei in 1999. He had worked in the R&D and marketing departments before joining the Intellectual Property Department in 2005.
