Ms. Zhao joined BYD in 2000, currently serving as the General Manager of IP & Legal Division of BYD Company Limited, responsible for managing the company’s global IP&L matters. Ms. Zhao has more than fifteen years working experience in managing corporate IP, and she is adept at the development and utilization of IP strategy. She has been deeply involved in IP’s negation and cooperation for the critical M&A and JV projects. She is skilled in IP portfolio management and protection, especially in the EV/HEV industry, and she is the co-author and counsel of Patent Mining and Patent Portfolio. Ms. Zhao is familiar with overseas intellectual property protection procedure, has deep research in IP utilization and litigation, and has participated and led BYD’s critical IP lawsuits. She has been selected as the third batch of Top IP Hundred Talents in 2011, the first batch of National IP Leading Talents in 2012 and the local leading talent of Shenzhen City in 2013.
