Mr. Wang Xin worked for Huawei's Intellectual Property Department since 2007, and has been engaged in IPR management in the fields of terminal technology, optical network technology, software technology, and wireless technology. He is currently the director of the Wireless Technology Intellectual Property Department. He is responsible for IPR managing strategy, patent application management, patent licensing and operation, and patent litigation in 4G/5G/6G and Wi-Fi 6/7 wireless fields. He also leads the company's legal work in standards organizations such as 3GPP and IEEE, industry alliances, and open source organizations. Mr. Wang Xin has rich experience in building and operating patent portfolios. He presided over the construction of Huawei's wireless standard patent management system and achieved Huawei's leading position in the wireless 5G standard patent field. In addition, he participated in and presided over patent licensing or litigation cases between Huawei and Ericsson, ZTE, Apple, and Samsung.
