Benoit Misonne– IP Attaché to the Delegation of the European Union to China detached from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) Prior to taking office as IP Attaché for the EUIPO on March 1st (2021), Benoit has led initiatives for 15 years supporting the EU-China IP Dialogue (legislative reform, administration of IP rights, civil and criminal enforcement). He has covered cross-sectorial issues (from ICT to consumer products, through creative and cultural industries). Inter alia: - [2007 – 2012] IP Expert and Coordinator for the European Patent Office (EPO) – EU-China Project on the Protection of IPRs (IPR2) - [2013 – 2021] Project Leader for the EUIPO – IP Key China Benoit holds master degrees in International Business Studies (E.M.B.Sc., Edinburgh) and Political Sciences (College of Europe).
