Hong Kong LAN Fong Yuen was founded in 1952. The founder, Mr. Lin Muhe, invented the “silk stocking milk tea”, the origin of the Hong Kong-style milk tea. In more than half a century, LAN Fong Yuen has become a benchmark for Hong Kong milk tea. In its 71 years of development, LAN Fong Yuen has inherited the unique craftsmanship of the silk stocking milk tea, which is so favored by the public that long queues before LAN Fong Yuen shops are common every day. In 2014, the craftsmanship of the Hong Kong-style milk tea was included in Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage, making LAN Fong Yuen a representative.
