Guangdong Geographical Indications Association

Guangdong Geographical Indications Association was officially established on June 9, 2022. It is a provincial, professional and non-profit social organization legal person formed voluntarily by enterprises, industry organizations, universities, research institutes, service institutions and individuals in Guangdong Province engaged in the research, production, manufacturing, processing services and related supporting services of the geographical indication industry, which the competent business unit is Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation (Guangdong Intellectual Property Administration). It focuses on improving the service capacity of geographical indications in Guangdong Province, and therefore promoting the high-quality development of characteristic economic industries in Guangdong Province.
